The role
You'll be working alongside our Delivery team on real client infrastructure and internal company platforms. You'll get hands-on with core AWS services, containerization, and CI/CD pipelines, while learning how Digico Solutions uses Claude, agentic coding tools, and MCP-based workflows to move faster across engagements.
This is an onsite role at our Beirut office

What you'll do
Support delivery engineers on live client engagements: provisioning basic AWS services (EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS), troubleshooting, and documenting as you go.
Build and maintain GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines — build, test, deploy stages — under engineer review.
Write and debug Dockerfiles; get comfortable with basic Kubernetes concepts (pods, deployments, services) through guided tasks, not solo ownership.
Use Claude, agentic coding tools, and Anthropic Skills/MCP as part of your daily workflow — for scripting, debugging, documentation, and repetitive delivery tasks — and give feedback on where they help or fall short.
Keep your task tracker (Linear) and documentation (Notion) up to date as you go — this is how you learn our delivery discipline, not paperwork for its own sake.
Shadow client calls and internal architecture discussions to see how design decisions get made.

What you'll bring
A degree in progress or recently completed in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
Basic working knowledge of AWS core services (EC2, S3, IAM, VPC) — coursework, personal projects, or certifications all count.
Some exposure to Docker and a basic conceptual understanding of Kubernetes (Production experience is not required).
Comfort using Git/GitHub, and enough scripting (Python or Bash) to automate small tasks.
Strong written English and Arabic.
Curiosity, reliability, and a willingness to ask questions rather than guess on client-facing work.
Nice to have
AWS Cloud Practitioner certification.
Any personal or academic project involving CI/CD, containers, or infrastructure-as-code.
Prior exposure to Terraform.
Familiarity with the concept of MCP (Model Context Protocol) or agentic workflows, even at a conceptual level.

What we offer
Real engagements, real accountability. Your work touches actual client infrastructure under senior review.
Direct mentorship from delivery engineers and the Engineering Team Lead.
A stipend for the 3-month duration.
A strong shot for a full-time offer if the fit is right

Description

Aspire Software is looking for an AI engineer to join our team in Lebanon.

Here is a little window into our company: Aspire Software operates and manages wholly owned software companies, providing mission-critical solutions across multiple verticals. By implementing industry best practices, Aspire delivers a time sensitive integration process, and the operation of a decentralized model has allowed it to become a hub for creating rapid growth by reinvesting in its portfolio.

About the job

How we work with AI

AI is a teammate, not a magic wand. We expect you to use it daily for code generation, refactoring, debugging, and code review — and to be honest about its limits. Verify, don't trust blindly.

Velocity matters. This is a one-developer project supporting a real HR team. We ship multiple changes per day and iterate based on direct user feedback. We do not do month-long rewrites.

You own the judgment. Architecture, security, and data-correctness decisions are yours. AI tools accelerate execution; they don't replace thinking about edge cases (a single bad salary record can blow up a $50M number — ask me how I know).

You'll work directly with the user. No PM, no ticket queue. Conversations happen in Teams or a short weekly sync. Bring context, ask before assuming, push back when needed.

What you'll do

Refactor the frontend into a modular, component-based architecture (React / Vue / Svelte — your call, with reasoning). Preserve all existing functionality and visual design.

Move data off disk to a real database (Postgres or our existing Supabase) with proper migrations and a query layer.

Harden security. Replace the current token-based auth with proper session management, add MFA for admins, add audit logging for sensitive views, pen-test the upload endpoints.

Set up CI/CD. GitHub Actions for linting, type-check, automated tests, preview deployments. Today every change goes straight to production.

Add observability. Error tracking (Sentry or similar), basic uptime/performance monitoring, structured server logs.

Document the data pipeline. From BambooHR weekly export ? CSV upload ? application state. Today this lives in scattered Python and JS.

Requirements

5+ years full-stack: modern JS/TS frontend framework, Node.js, Postgres, REST/JSON APIs.

Strong opinions on incremental refactoring over rewrites. We can't afford a 6-month "stop the world" rebuild.

Experience with auth (OAuth/SSO, RBAC), security best practices, and threat modeling.

DevOps fluency: CI/CD pipelines, environment management, monitoring/alerting.

Comfortable with charting libraries (Chart.js, D3, or similar).

AI fluency. Daily use of AI coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, or similar) — comfortable shipping production code with AI in the loop, while exercising independent judgment on architecture and security. Bonus if you've built features that call LLM APIs directly (the existing Roster chatbot and the planned HR-Jira automation agent will benefit).

Nice to have

HR or workforce-analytics domain experience.

Experience with Render, Supabase, or BambooHR's API.

Python (for the weekly export pipeline).

Success looks like, after 6 months

Frontend split into a maintainable codebase with tests.

Page-load and tab-switch times measurably faster (target: <1s for first meaningful paint).

All data persisted in the database with migrations and backups.

Auth, audit, and monitoring in place; no production incidents from missing observability.

Same HR team using it, no regressions, plus a documented runbook for future contributors.

Aspire Software operates and manages wholly owned software companies, providing mission-critical solutions across multiple verticals. By implementing industry best practices, Aspire delivers a time sensitive integration process, and the operation of a decentralized model has allowed it to become a hub for creating rapid growth by reinvesting in its portfolio.

About the job

This is a builder role for someone obsessed with what agents can actually do in production. You'll design and ship autonomous AI systems that operate inside the Polygon marketplace — agents that understand jewelry listings, assist buyers and sellers, surface intelligence across decades of trade data, and automate workflows that have been manual for forty years. You won't just be wiring up LLM calls. You'll be designing agentic systems end-to-end: tool definitions, planning loops, memory, evals, guardrails, observability, and the product surfaces that put these capabilities in front of real users.

Key responsibilities

Design and build agentic systems that power core marketplace experiences — listing intelligence, semantic and multi-step search, buyer/seller assistants, trade matching, content moderation, and market analytics

Architect tool-using agents with reliable planning, execution, and recovery

Build the supporting infrastructure: RAG pipelines, vector search, evals, prompt management, traceability, and cost/latency monitoring

Partner with product and design to translate agentic capabilities into UX that members actually use and trust

Establish patterns and primitives so the rest of the engineering team can ship agent-powered features confidently

Stay on the frontier — evaluate new models, frameworks, and techniques and bring the ones that matter into production

Requirements

3 - 5 years of experience

Production experience building agentic systems with LLMs — not just chat wrappers, but agents that plan, use tools, and complete multi-step tasks

Deep familiarity with at least one major LLM API (Anthropic, OpenAI, or equivalent), including tool use / function calling, structured outputs, and streaming

Experience designing and running evals for non-deterministic systems

Strong software engineering fundamentals — TypeScript/Python, modern web stack, API design

Pragmatic judgment about when to use agents, when to use simpler pipelines, and when not to use AI at all
