S/He develops and maintains strategic partnerships with vendors and partners and promotes a customer centric environment at all times.<br>Main Duties and Responsibilities<br>Technical and Operations<br>• Ensure the growth and profitability of the business unit through providing strategic direction and expanding the portfolio of the company in areas related to business intelligence, database management and mobile solutions to name a few<br>• Participate in the preparation of the financial plan, cascade to the team and ensure its proper implementation while analyzing and controlling expenses and targets on a continuous basis<br>• Meet with vendors and partners at the beginning of the fiscal year to commit on the business plan, define targets and agree upon levels of involvement<br>• Oversee the preparation of periodic reports and review performance with the concerned leadership team on a regular basis<br>• Evaluate current business processes, identify opportunities for improvement and implement procedures maximizing efficiency and standardization<br>• Prepare periodic forecasts and update the management with related reports and analysis<br>• Establish and maintain sound strategic relationships with vendors and partners in alignment with the company's strategy and upgrade agreements when and if necessary<br>• Track credit and/or payment performance, review outstanding settlements and manage resolutions accordingly<br>• Stay abreast of technological developments and review current vendor and/or product list and promotional approaches accordingly<br>• Identify country risks and assist in the development and implementation of risk mitigation strategies in coordination with concerned departments<br>• Foster a sustainable customer service culture, monitor customer satisfaction and manage complaints with utmost priority<br>• Ensure proper interaction and communication between the department, other business departments and top management<br>Talent Development<br>• Ensure that human capital and capabilities are aligned with the company HR strategy at a departmental level<br>• Act as an agent of change and challenge departmental structures and processes to accompany change initiatives<br>• Lead and coach the team cultivating empowerment and ownership<br>• Develop capabilities and secure a solid succession plan.<br>Position Requirements<br>Education<br>Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Management or any other related field.<br><b>Experience</b><br>• Minimum 10-12 years of experience in IT sales, account management, channel management, or pre-sales.<br>• Strong IT industry background (distribution, vendor, or major partner ecosystem) is a strong plus.<br>• Experience managing a sales/pre-sales team.<br>• Previous experience in managing Cisco products is a strong plus.<br>• Exposure products such as Dell, VMware, IBM, HPE, Lenovo, and Fujitsu are also a strong plus.<br>• Strong understanding of enterprise technology, infrastructure, and solutions.<br>• Strong leadership and people-management skills; someone eager to grow and willing to learn.<br>• Arabic/English are mandatory, French would be a plus.<br><br></div></section>
