The SFSO ensures UNRWA's Security and Risk Management system is context specific and tailored to the needs of frontline personnel. S/he supports the identification, implementation of security and risk management best practices and other Standard Operation Procedures across the Field. The SFSO ensures UNRWA's participation in the UN Security Management System (UNSMS) and supports UNRWA's compliance with security requirements, as appropriate.
