Medical Officer – Medical Services Department <br>The Medical Officer makes sure that our insured patients get quality healthcare. Being the first interlocutor with our risk carriers and medical providers for solving inquiries and complaints related to medical coverage decisions and patient cases. <br> <br>Duties: <br>• Make contact and negotiate with guarantors to solve problems concerning patients’ coverage cases. <br>• Assist guarantors in the underwriting and scoring of new and renewed adherents. <br>• Monitor the length of stay, utilization, medical cases, and their related costs. <br>• Generate hospitalization reports and follow up on tracked high-cost cases with the concerned Field Medical Officers <br>• Follow up on medical discharges with Field Medical Officers. <br>• Contribute to projects related to the Medical Services department as assigned by the Medical Director. <br> <br>Requirements: <br>• Medical Doctor degree <br>• 0 to 2 years of experience in the related field <br>• English & Arabic language, French is a plus. <br>• Excellent communication skills & Organizational skills <br>• Negotiation skills & problem-solving <br>• Analytical thinking skills <br>• Always up to date in terms of medical research

The social worker has to be present at site (north area) from Monday to Friday, from 9:00 to 17:00 covering the following tasks: <br>- Receiving local resident patients. <br>- Opening and filling related form describing the patient medical issues, needed medicine, treatment, ect… <br>- Making sure all files are correctly completed. <br>- Conducting the needed investigation for each case and provide the related reports and feedbacks to the management. <br>- Assisting the on-duty doctor in his duties (present 2 times per week from 9:00 to 12:00) <br>- Following up and update all presented cases. <br>- Escorting the on-site investigator during his visits. <br>- Assisting with charity related events when occurring. <br>Required experience & education <br>- Preferably holding a degree in sociology or any related field <br>- Preferably having an experience of minimum 5 years in charity &/or social work field. <br>- To have the ability to show compassion toward difficult cases <br>- Being very discreet is a major key <br>Location: <br>- It is mandatory that the candidates are resident of Amioun – Koura region. <br>Salary: <br>- Depending on education and experience
