<section><p class="heading jdMain">Job Description</p><p class="heading">Roles & Responsibilities</p><div class="paragraph"><p><br></p><p><strong>Job Purpose:</strong> To provide strategic and operational leadership, oversight, and coordination of integrated supply chain operations across Procurement, Logistics, Food Safety & Quality (FSQ), Retail, and, when activated in-country, Logistics Cluster and Humanitarian-Military Interaction (HMI) activities. The incumbent is responsible for ensuring efficient, compliant, and cost-effective delivery of supply chain operations and services, while maximizing the effective utilization of resources to support programme objectives, partner requirements, and beneficiary needs. The incumbent also ensures that supply chain strategies and operational planning remain responsive to contextual and programme requirements, safeguarding the quality and safety of assistance while ensuring dignified and equitable delivery to vulnerable populations. In addition, the role oversees the alignment of supply chain capabilities, operational planning, and service provision models to support both in-kind and cash-based interventions, including on-demand services and partner support requirements where applicable.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities (not all-inclusive, nor exhaustive):</strong></p><p>Within delegated authority and under the direct supervision of the Country Director, the Supply Chain Officer will be responsible for the following generic duties:</p><ul><li>Contribute to the development and implementation of supply chain plans and procedures, in line with the global WFP supply chain strategy and regional/functional strategies, policies and plans, to achieve operational cost efficiency, agility, reliability, quality and to support national capacity strengthening.</li><li>Provide substantive contributions to country context analyses and to the management of end-to-end operational supply chain and retail networks, in support of operational supply chain challenges and operational optimization.</li><li>Contribute to planning and implementation of supply chain operations, initiatives and services to ensure a timely, insights and recommending actions to senior staff for maximizing use of resources and effectiveness of supply chain operations.</li><li>Build and maintain productive partnerships with counterparts in the key supply chain functions contributing to an integrated supply chain approach to food assistance and cross-functional operational alignment.</li><li>Build and maintain productive partnerships with supply chain counterparts amongst government and other national organizations, UN agencies, NGOs and private sector to share operational knowledge contributing to coordinated and cost-effective supply chain operations.</li><li>Provide technical contribution to market analysis and supply chain network mapping to inform the selection of an appropriate operation modalities to improve supply chain performance.</li><li>Support management of supply chain operations, in compliance with the established supply chain strategies, policies, procedures and controls, and following corporate standards, with special emphasis on quality control, loss prevention, risk mitigation and cost effectiveness.</li><li>Support the monitoring of supply chain activities to check that appropriate internal controls are followed to increase the day-to-day efficiencies and overall performance of supply chain operations.</li><li>Support management of service providers/vendors, port, fleet and warehouse operations to promote safe, efficient planning and execution of WFP operations.</li><li>Prepare accurate, comprehensive and timely reports, dashboards and other visual materials on supply chain activities including trends to support informed decision-making and consistency of information presented to the stakeholders.</li><li>Guide and supervise staff, acting as a point of referral, University degree with additional years of related work experience and/or training/courses.</p><p>Experience: At least three (03) years of postgraduate professional experience in Supply Chain, <section><p class="heading jdMain">Job Description</p><p class="heading">Roles & Responsibilities</p><div class="paragraph"><p>The Head of base is responsible for coordinating, consolidating, and ensuring smooth implementation of and adherence to logistic, human resource, administration and provides operational support to the Nutrition / Food Security / Water and Sanitation programs. The head of Base oversees security at the base level, leading the context and risk analysis and the adoption of the necessary measures to protect the staff and the Organisation. The HoB will represent AAH in the base and oversee all AAH activities, staff and assets, making sure that all departments follow AAH procedures and have a unified and coherent management. Will update and follow up all AAH procedures with the support of DCD, CD and Headquarters.</p><p>Objective 1 : Programme Management (30%)</p><ul><li>Ensure effective operational management of the programme area through oversight of and adherence to Programme tools, logistics, communications, transport, human resources, and finance policies and procedures.</li><li>Work closely with the technical coordinators to facilitate the correct implementation and identification of projects</li><li>Contribute to the development of the area programme through participation in and facilitation of
