<p>About the role</p><p>You are responsible for the overall strategy and compliance, through the management of logistics, human resources and finance departments in the MdM Lebanon mission.</p><p><br></p><p>You ensure support services are fully compliant with MdM policies, donor requirements, national authorities’ regulations, and applicable legislation.</p><p><br></p><p>Who you’ll work with</p><p>Under the line management of the General coordinator, and the technical management of the Desk manager, you work in close collaboration with the other departments: Program, Medical/MHPSS, Grants, Security-Safety-Access, MEAL.</p><p><br></p><p>What you’ll do</p><p>Support services leadership & strategic planning</p><p><br></p><p>Provide strategic leadership and guidance to the General Coordinator and Country Management Team on all support-related matters</p><p>Contribute to country strategy development, annual planning and financial planning processes</p><p>Lead support services planning and ensure alignment between operational and programme priorities</p><p>Anticipate operational challenges and oversee contingency planning to ensure humanitarian response continuity</p><p>Development & reporting</p><p><br></p><p>Ensure support functions contribute effectively to proposal development, reporting and donor-related processes</p><p>Coordinate the timely provision of analyses and support inputs required for programme development and decision-making</p><p>Support services management & quality</p><p><br></p><p>Oversee the quality, compliance and performance of all support functions in accordance with organizational policies, donor requirements and local regulations</p><p>Ensure sound resource management, accountability and legal compliance across the mission</p><p>Monitor support systems, identify risks and corrective actions, and strengthen tools and procedures to support informed decision-making</p><p>Promote effective integration and collaboration between Finance, HR, Logistics and programme teams</p><p>Risk management, compliance & internal control</p><p><br></p><p>Strengthen internal control systems and ensure appropriate management of mission resources</p><p>Identify and mitigate financial, operational, compliance, safeguarding, fraud and corruption risks</p><p>Lead or coordinate audits, investigations and follow up on recommendations in collaboration with relevant stakeholders</p><p>Promote adherence to anti-fraud, anti-corruption and safeguarding policies across the mission</p><p>Team management & capacity building</p><p><br></p><p>Recruit, manage and develop the support services team through coaching, performance management and capacity-building initiatives</p><p>Foster effective coordination, communication and information sharing across teams</p><p>Identify learning and development needs and ensure access to appropriate technical support and resources</p><p>Coordination & representation</p><p><br></p><p>Ensure strong coordination between support, programme, field and headquarters teams</p><p>Facilitate effective information sharing and contribute to organizational reporting</p><p>Represent the organization with authorities, partners and donors, alongside the General Coordinator, when required.</p><p><strong>Desired Candidate Profile</strong></p><p><br></p>
