<p><h4>Purpose</h4>
<p>Automation technicians will be responsible for supporting our project managers and system engineers with creating, installing, and commissioning of PLC/HMI/SCADA based systems as well as network and device integration work.</p>
<h4>Essential functions and responsibilities</h4>
<p>The following duties are typical for this job. These are not to be constructed as exclusive or all inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned.</p>
<ul>
<li>Complete start up and commissioning of new PLC/HMI/SCADA control systems, service and maintenance of existing installations, fault diagnoses, hardware repairs, programming bug fixes and alterations on customer sites</li>
<li>Complete diagnosing and resolving technical problems on job sites and provide appropriate reports to project management or operations leaders via email, SharePoint, OneDrive, or other repository applications</li>
<li>Attend and participate in project kickoff and turnover meetings with project managers to gain knowledge of project estimate, scope and finalize project completion documentation</li>
<li>Organize and maintain control submittal project redlines and submit to design engineer at project conclusion for as built drawing package creation</li>
<li>Work with other technicians to develop and share technical solutions</li>
<li>Actively participate in technician training to maintain technical expertise on new products, tools, and integration through continuing education initiatives</li>
</ul>
<h4>Minimum education & experience required to perform essential functions</h4>
<ul>
<li>Associate’s degree specialized in robotics, automation, technology or minimum of 3-5 years of experience with PLC/HMI control system in lieu of associate’s degree</li>
<li>Or bachelor’s degree specialized in technology, engineering, manufacturing</li>
</ul>
<h4>Mental and physical competencies required to perform essential functions</h4>
<ul>
<li>Working knowledge of at least one PLC software (i.e. Rockwell Suite, Modicon Unity Pro or Control Expert, Mitsubishi, or many others)</li>
<li>Working knowledge of at least one HMI software (i.e. Rockwell FactoryTalk View or Wonderware InTouch, or many others)</li>
<li>Working SCADA knowledge of at least one platform (i.e. Ignition, Factory Talk View SE, Optix, GE iFix, Ecostruxure Power Operations or SCADA, and many others)</li>

JOB TITLE:
<br>Concession Technical Manager /Electrical Engineer – Lebanon
<br>
<br>Reporting to : Chairman and GM
<br>Supervising: Entire Technical staff in general and his direct reports specifically ( Chefs de Services).
<br>
<br>Scope Of Work:
<br>Ensure proper operation of the Company, in compliance with established international norms, with emphasis of passenger safety.
<br>RESPONSIBILITIES: - Ensure competence and discipline of technical team. - Compliance with International operation and safety norms (applicable to our 60-year old installation. - Compliance with our Concession Spec book.
<br>TASKS:
<br>1- Train himself and his team on proper Company operation, procedures and tasks inspired by international and local consultants and in compliance with the Manual of Proceedures.
<br>2- Liaise with International service suppliers of Design (Maître d’Oeuvre like E.R.I.C.) and Inspection/Control bodies such as Bureau Veritas , ICC or other approved firms and comply with International norms.
<br>3- Ensure thorough daily and weekly maintenance (under supervision of local technical consultant ECM).
<br>4- Review and update our Manual of Operations as needed.
<br>5- Review weekly maintenance reports from ECM and our team then ensure corrective measures and actions in a timely fashion with sense of urgency.
<br>6- Issue a monthly report to GM covering past actions , forecast actions including corrective measures, highlighting areas to improve.
<br>7- Issue an evaluation report after each international inspection visit with copy to the concession service.
<br>8- Execute performance evaluation of each head of service and any other direct reports twice a year. Ensure the same happens with the entire team of managers and their direct reports. Use these appraisals for salary reviews.
<br>9- Recommend Hire and Fire decisions with justifications, in conjunction with HR/Administration Manager.
<br>10- Liaise with HR on topics related to his team such as compensation, social security, insurance, vacations, etc.
<br>11- Constantly review and evaluate his team structure and procedures to correct and improve.
<br>12- Follow-up on work schedules, time attendance, task repartition..
<br>13- Liaise with local and international suppliers of spare parts. Obtain management approval for acquisitions (above USD 1,000).
<br>14- Inventory control and supervision.
<br>15- Liaise with Concessions Service as needed.
<br>16- Adopt and update a Contingency Plan ( Plan de Sauvetage) to better manage crises, in coordination with Civil Defense, Lebanese Army and Red Cross.

<br>Ensure proper operation of the Company, in compliance with established international norms, with emphasis of passenger safety.
<br>RESPONSIBILITIES: - Ensure competence and discipline of technical team. - Compliance with International operation and safety norms (applicable to our 60-year old installation. - Compliance with our Concession Spec book.
<br>TASKS:
<br>1- Train himself and his team on proper Company operation, procedures and tasks inspired by international and local consultants and in compliance with the Manual of Proceedures.
<br>2- Liaise with International service suppliers of Design (Maître d’Oeuvre like E.R.I.C.) and Inspection/Control bodies such as Bureau Veritas , ICC or other approved firms and comply with International norms.
<br>3- Ensure thorough daily and weekly maintenance (under supervision of local technical consultant ECM).
<br>4- Review and update our Manual of Operations as needed.
<br>5- Review weekly maintenance reports from ECM and our team then ensure corrective measures and actions in a timely fashion with sense of urgency.
<br>6- Issue a monthly report to GM covering past actions , forecast actions including corrective measures, highlighting areas to improve.
<br>7- Issue an evaluation report after each international inspection visit with copy to the concession service.
<br>8- Execute performance evaluation of each head of service and any other direct reports twice a year. Ensure the same happens with the entire team of managers and their direct reports. Use these appraisals for salary reviews.
<br>9- Recommend Hire and Fire decisions with justifications, in conjunction with HR/Administration Manager.
<br>10- Liaise with HR on topics related to his team such as compensation, social security, insurance, vacations, etc.
<br>11- Constantly review and evaluate his team structure and procedures to correct and improve.
<br>12- Follow-up on work schedules, time attendance, task repartition..
<br>13- Liaise with local and international suppliers of spare parts. Obtain management approval for acquisitions (above USD 1,000).
<br>14- Inventory control and supervision.
<br>15- Liaise with Concessions Service as needed.
<br>16- Adopt and update a Contingency Plan ( Plan de Sauvetage) to better manage crises, in coordination with Civil Defense, Lebanese Army and Red Cross.
