Main Tasks:

<p>The overall scope of this role is to ensure that Hotel Inventory Stores are correctly maintained and controlled.</p><p>Responsible for following and understanding all Kempinski Policies & Procedures.</p><p>Responsible for behaving in a professional and harmonious manner and following the Kempinski code of conduct.</p><p>Responsible for entering issued goods into the system when necessary.</p><p>Responsible for maintaining proper labeling of items including name and dates, as well as the corresponding par levels.</p><p>Responsible for issuing goods in a timely manner against the corresponding authorized requisition.</p><p>Responsible for inventories of storerooms within the stipulated guidelines</p><p>Responsible for alerting supervisor on dead or slow moving stock.</p><p>Responsible for reviewing and recording any goods issued after hours.</p><p>Responsible for ensuring that all storerooms are locked, supervised, organized, and clean at all times.</p><p>Responsible for performing any additional duties assigned by Management and assisting in other areas of Cost Control as needed.</p><p>Responsible for communicating with supervisor on any discrepancies or other potential problems.</p><p>Additional responsibilities and tasks can be added at any time according to the needs of the business and of the hotel.</p><p><strong>Desired Candidate Profile</strong></p><ul><li>At least 1 year working experience in this position</li><li>College/University or equivalant</li><li>All goods received are labeled and verified.</li><li>Items are stored correctly and maintained in a safe, sanitary and organized storage</li><li>Store requisitions are only issued with authorized request forms.</li><li>Ability to operate computer and mechanical equipment</li><li>Proficiency in Excel and Word</li><li>Experience in respective computer software is a plus</li><li>Knowledge of materials handling, quality control and local regulation</li><li>To safeguard the financial integrity and stability of the hotel and minimize any exposure to potential risks.</li><li>To receive, store, and issued goods following the established procedures.</li><li>Ability to handle high volume with attention to detail</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li><li>An ability to establish and retain effective working relationships with hotel staff and clients/vendors</li><li>Strong organizational and time management skills</li><li>Applies a professional, confidential and ethical approach at all times</li><li>Works in a safe, prudent and organized manner</li><li>Straightforward</li><li>Flexible and reliable</li><li>Energetic</li><li>Tolerant and open minded</li><li>Works well under pressure</li><li>Local Language</li><li>English Language</li><li>Lebanese</li></ul>
