Role Summary:
<br>
<br>The technician is responsible for the timely, efficient, high-quality and safe execution of maintenance tasks as assigned by the Head of Technical Department. This position is also responsible for the efficient, proper and safe usage of company tools, equipment and materials as well as the clean and safe running of maintenance works at client premises.
<br>
<br>Main Duties
<br>
<br>• Carry out repairs and maintenance works in a safe, efficient, professional and tidy manner
<br>• Ensure a high-standard maintenance of equipment, machines, and tools cleanliness
<br>• Respond promptly to all maintenance calls and related tasks
<br>• Clean and safely pack-away all materials and tools after completion of daily tasks
<br>• Provide regular progress updates and report new findings or issues that may affect completion date
<br>• Plan, organize and implement a planned preventative and predictive maintenance programmer for all plants and perform unscheduled equipment maintenance as and when required.
<br>• Update Head of technical department on day-to-day project execution
<br>• Provide support by working off site if business requirements call for it
<br>
<br>Qualifications
<br>
<br>• A Technical degree (TS3 or BT3) from an accredited institution
<br>• 3+ years’ experience in the same field
<br>Technical knowledge, skills & abilities required
<br>
<br>• Familiarity with installation of copper networks, welding, electrical works and binding copper pipes as well as installation procedures, fittings, regulators, tools, and gas accessories
<br>• Ability to read, write and communicate well in Arabic.
<br>
<br>Soft skills required
<br>
<br>• High degree of professionalism and integrity with staff and clients alike
<br>• Detail-oriented and conducts regular follow-ups
<br>• Clean and tidy appearance
