<p>Review contract documents, specifications, drawings, and project requirements. Review and optimize mechanical designs, engineering calculations, and system layouts for HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Fighting systems. Prepare detailed, coordinated shop drawings and BIM models using AutoCAD and Revit. Perform equipment selection and engineering calculations, including HVAC load calculations, ventilation calculations, hydraulic calculations, and pipe/duct sizing. Coordinate mechanical systems with architectural, structural, electrical, plumbing, and other building disciplines to resolve clashes and ensure constructability. Prepare material schedules, equipment schedules, and technical submittals. Ensure compliance with project specifications, applicable codes, and client requirements. Review consultant comments and revise drawings accordingly. Attend coordination meetings and provide technical support during project execution. Support procurement and site teams by resolving technical queries and issuing drawing revisions when required. Support quantity take-offs from BIM models and shop drawings when required.</p><p><strong>Desired Candidate Profile</strong></p><ul><li>Strong knowledge of HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Fighting systems.</li><li>Knowledge of HVAC load calculations, hydraulic calculations, ventilation, and equipment selection.</li><li>Familiarity with international standards and codes (ASHRAE, NFPA, SMACNA, IPC/UPC, NF).</li><li>Proficiency in AutoCAD, and Revit MEP.</li><li>Navisworks (preferred)</li><li>Experience with HVAC design software such as HAP or equivalent.</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.</li><li>Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering.</li><li>Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Mechanical design and shop drawings preparation.</li><li>Experience in HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Fighting system design.</li><li>Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and Microsoft Office.</li><li>Knowledge in HAP is an advantage.</li><li>Good command of both English and French is required.</li></ul>
