<p>The Lead Teacher helps nurture and develop the knowledge, abilities and social skills of children between the ages of 2 months - 4 years and prepares them for kindergarten and primary school education.</p><p>Key Responsibilities:</p><ul><li>Developing and implementing lessons/work schemes adhering to the KEY system</li><li>Providing a safe and stimulating environment that facilitates learning</li><li>Organizing and supervising play and work activities (for example reading, cooking, music, dancing etc.)</li><li>Liaising with parents/ care givers and professionals (if need be) such as counselors, speech therapists and health visitors</li><li>Develop a positive relationship with each child and promote the development of self- esteem and self-discipline</li><li>Observe each child daily to assess skills, interests, and needs and use this information to facilitate learning and growth</li><li>Establish a positive relationship with each child s family and share information about the child s day at the nursery</li><li>Participate in staff meetings, nursery activities, events, and professional development sessions</li></ul><p><strong>Desired Candidate Profile</strong></p><p>Education Qualification:</p><ul><li>Bachelor s Degree in Education, Educational Psychology, Child Psychology or kindergarten Teaching Degree</li></ul><p>Skills:</p><ul><li>Empathy and consideration</li><li>Adaptability</li><li>Creativity</li><li>Patience</li><li>Responsibility</li><li>Energy and Resourcefulness</li><li>Enthusiasm and Humor</li></ul>
