The Lead Teacher helps nurture and develop the knowledge, abilities and social skills of children between the ages of 2 months - 4 years and prepares them for kindergarten and primary school education.

<br>Key Responsibilities:
<br>• Developing and implementing lessons/work schemes adhering to the KEY system
<br>• Providing a safe and stimulating environment that facilitates learning
<br>• Organizing and supervising play and work activities (for example reading, cooking, music, dancing etc.)
<br>• Liaising with parents/care givers and professionals (if need be) such as counselors, speech therapists and health visitors
<br>• Develop a positive relationship with each child and promote the development of self- esteem and self-discipline
<br>• Observe each child daily to assess skills, interests, and needs and use this information to facilitate learning and growth
<br>• Establish a positive relationship with each child’s family and share information about the child’s day at the nursery
<br>• Participate in staff meetings, nursery activities, events, and professional development sessions

<p>Our client, a leading company in the educational publishing and distribution sector, is seeking a Head of French School Department to lead the commercial strategy for its French and Arabic educational portfolio across the Lebanese market. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving business growth within schools, nurseries, and bookstores by strengthening existing partnerships, expanding the customer base, and maximizing opportunities with both exclusive and complementary publishing partners.</p><p><b>Responsibilities</b></p><ul><li>Develop and execute the commercial strategy for the French and Arabic educational business across schools, nurseries, and bookstores.</li><li>Monitor market trends, curriculum developments, competitor activity, and pricing changes, providing strategic insights to senior management.</li><li>Lead, coach, and manage a team of Educational Representatives, including territory planning, target setting, performance monitoring, and field coaching.</li><li>Build and maintain strong relationships with key educational institutions, nurseries, and retail partners.</li><li>Identify and develop new business opportunities while expanding the customer portfolio.</li><li>Ensure profitable commercial agreements through effective pricing, discount, and payment term management.</li><li>Establish and monitor departmental KPIs, preparing regular performance reports for senior management.</li><li>Contribute to budgeting and financial planning in collaboration with the Commercial Director.</li><li>Conduct market research to identify business opportunities, risks, and competitive trends.</li><li>Collaborate with the Marketing team to support promotional campaigns, educational events, and product launches.</li><li>Work closely with internal departments to ensure seamless business operations.</li><li>Oversee daily departmental operations, employee development, and support contract negotiations.</li><li>Build relationships with school administrators, nursery management, bookstore owners, and relevant governmental bodies.</li><li>Represent the company at local and international exhibitions, conferences, and industry events as required.</li><li>Perform additional duties as assigned.</li></ul><p><strong>Desired Candidate Profile</strong></p><ul><li>Master's degree in Business Administration or a related field.</li><li>Minimum of 10 years of managerial experience within a relevant commercial or educational environment.</li><li>Fluency in French is essential; English is an advantage.</li><li>Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.</li><li>Strong communication, negotiation, analytical, leadership, coaching, and presentation skills.</li><li>Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities.</li><li>Demonstrated leadership, emotional intelligence, and people management capabilities.</li><li>High level of integrity, initiative, and business acumen.</li></ul><p>This position is primarily office-based with occasional visits to educational institutions and retail partners, as well as periodic local and international business travel.</p>
Job Purpose
<br>The Agricultural Engineer will support the establishment and development of a new agricultural business activity in DRC, combining the operation of a commercial plant nursery with the development and sale of agricultural products and solutions.
<br>The position requires a technically knowledgeable and commercially oriented agricultural professional capable of developing the nursery, identifying suitable agricultural products, supporting customers technically, and contributing to the growth of the agricultural business.
<br>Key Responsibilities
<br>• Establish and develop a commercial nursery for plants, seedlings, ornamental plants and other suitable agricultural products.
<br>• Manage plant propagation, growing conditions, irrigation, fertilization and general nursery operations.
<br>• Identify agricultural market opportunities and customer requirements in DRC.
<br>• Develop and promote a portfolio of agricultural products including:
<br>o Fertilizers and plant nutrition products
<br>o Herbicides
<br>o Insecticides
<br>o Fungicides and crop-protection products
<br>o Seeds and seedlings
<br>o Irrigation systems and accessories
<br>o Greenhouses and greenhouse equipment
<br>o Agricultural tools and related products
<br>• Provide technical advice and agricultural solutions to customers.
<br>• Support technical sales and business-development activities with farmers, agricultural companies and commercial customers.
<br>• Identify and evaluate suppliers and new agricultural products.
<br>• Assist in product selection, pricing, stock planning and market development.
<br>• Conduct site visits and provide recommendations related to crops, irrigation, fertilizers and crop protection.
<br>• Support the development of the Agriculture Division as the business expands.
<br>Education & Experience
<br>• Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Engineering, Agronomy, Horticulture or related field.
<br>• Preferably 5+ years of relevant experience.
<br>• Practical experience in one or more of the following areas:

<br>o Nursery or horticulture
<br>o Irrigation systems

<br>• Commercial or business-development experience is highly desirable.

<p>Supports the design and development of learning programmes and curricula including supporting in organizing and conducting occupational and competency analyses within their area of specialization, drafting programme profiles, learning guides and manuals, assessing and integrating new and emerging technologies into the subject specializations, and assisting in integrating career guidance and counselling in the learning programmes. Facilitates the delivery of the school-based and work-based learning programmes assigned to them including designing and preparing training venues, identifying and proper utilizing of the facilities and equipment, selecting the trainees, developing inclusive training (lessons) plans, facilitating and managing learning in classrooms, laboratories, workshops, and workplaces, employing adult learning strategies including integrating trainees with disabilities and special learning needs, and mainstreaming Occupational Health and Safety (OSH) and core skills for life and work in the learning delivery. Designs student assessments both formative and summative assessments, practice-based and knowledge-based skills tests; Develops assessment sheets, grids and inclusive skills assessment implementation plans including assessment of core skills and Occupational Safety and Health (OSH); Conducts knowledge and practice-based assessments and tests according to the assessment implementation plan. Builds linkages with employers, workers, and TVET instructors in their specialisations; Collects and utilises available labour market information (LMI) for their training courses; supports conducting and analysing skills needs and anticipation assessments, employers' surveys, trainees and graduate trace studies to identify skills gaps, needs, and mismatches for their learning programmes. Applies quality assurance tools and processes across the training cycle of their training courses according to UNRWA TVET Quality Assurance Framework. Supports TVET greening and digitalization initiatives and activities; Designs and implements green and digital learning programmes; Integrates green and digital skills into their training courses; Develops and facilitates synchronous and asynchronous training sessions. Collaborates with other instructors and staff members in coordinating the teaching and learning process, keeping respectful environment at the Centre, maintaining order and discipline in the Centre, and implementing well-organized co-curricular activities, supporting the design and implementation of the Occupational Health and Safety (OSH) measures and tools and reports on incidents and risks in the Centre.
