<p><b><br></b></p><p><b>## Purpose of the Role</b></p><p>This role keeps the company running day to day. It covers the office itself, but the larger part of the job is making sure the different parts of the business move together: warehouse, fleet, sales support, administration and the outside providers the company depends on. The person in this seat is the one management turns to when something needs to be organised, chased, fixed or coordinated across departments, and the one department heads coordinate through when a request touches more than one team.</p><p>It suits someone who is organised, hands on, and comfortable being responsible for outcomes that depend on other people delivering.</p><p>---</p><p>## Key Responsibilities</p><p>### Office and Administration</p><ul><li>Run the daily operation of the office and make sure it is properly staffed, supplied and functioning.</li><li>Supervise administrative staff, receptionists, drivers, messengers and cleaning staff, including scheduling, attendance and daily task assignment.</li><li>Manage office supplies, equipment, furniture and stationery, from requisition through purchase, receipt and distribution.</li><li>Maintain company files, records and archives, both physical and digital, with a structure people can actually find things in.</li><li>Organise meetings, visits and travel arrangements for management and visiting principals, including hotels, transport and itineraries.</li><li>Handle incoming correspondence, courier, calls and visitor flow.</li></ul><p>### Day to Day Coordination Across Departments</p><ul><li>Act as the coordination point between Sales, Warehouse, Procurement, Finance and Administration so that requests do not sit unanswered.</li><li>Follow up daily on open items across the business and escalate anything that is stuck to the General Manager with a proposed solution, not just a problem.</li><li>Prepare and circulate daily and weekly status reports on the areas under this role.</li><li>Support management in preparing information for meetings, reviews and decisions.</li><li>Take on assignments and projects delegated by the General Manager and carry them to completion.</li></ul><p>### Warehouse, Delivery and Fleet Support</p><ul><li>Coordinate with the warehouse on receiving schedules, delivery planning and dispatch, so that shipments and orders move on time.</li><li>Monitor delivery performance, route coverage and customer delivery complaints, and follow up until each case is closed.</li><li>Manage the company vehicle fleet: registration, insurance, mechanic, licences, fuel, maintenance schedules, repairs and vehicle records.</li><li>Track driver assignments, licences and vehicle handovers.</li><li>Coordinate with third party transporters and service providers where used.</li></ul><p>### Facilities, Utilities and Assets</p><ul><li>Manage premises: office, warehouse and any branch location. The June 2026 ceasefire has allowed for partial and phased returns of displaced populations, particularly in areas where active hostilities have subsided. The situation is compounded by Lebanon's ongoing macroeconomic and institutional crisis which continues to limit recovery capacity.<\/p>\n<p>High poverty levels, currency instability, and weakened public service delivery systems have left both host communities and displaced populations with reduced coping capacity and limited access to services. In this constrained environment, HI, which has been present in Lebanon since 1992, has been able to adapt its programming to the specific emergencies onset as well as keeping some of its long-standing development focus.<\/p>\n<p>HI is managing activities covering the following thematics:<\/p>\n<ul>\n <li>Health and prevention for the provision of multi-disciplinary rehabilitation services (post-operative care, physiotherapy, assistive devices, prosthetics and orthotics, and psycho-social support).<\/li>\n <li>Inclusive education.<\/li>\n <li>Inclusive humanitarian action.<\/li>\n <li>Humanitarian Mine Action, including clearance, advocacy, non-technical survey (NTS) and technical survey (TS), and education on the risks and effects caused by conventional weapons (including mines, explosive remnants of war, and small arms light weapons).<\/li>\n <li>Emergency preparedness and basic needs (integrated response through non-food items \/ hygiene kits, including support to humanitarian actors via the ALTAS platform when required).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The actual intervention has so far been managed based on a mixed partnership with local structures and organizations, and direct implementation projects.<\/p>\n\n<h4>Your Mission<\/h4>\n<p>Reporting to the Regional Director, the Country Manager contributes to the implementation of Humanity & Inclusion's mandate and strategy within his\/her program. The security context is very volatile with daily air strikes in the south, regular drone fly-overs, and evacuation orders on a regular basis.<\/p>\n<p>While the location of the HI office and guesthouse is in a relatively safe area of Beirut, one has to be prepared to move out rapidly if needed. A comprehensive security system is in place, under the direct management of the Country Director, to ensure the safety of the team.<\/p>\n<p>Life in Beirut could be seen as \u201ceasy\u201d in a way with access to restaurants, sports facilities, or cultural events but, as noted above, it is a stressful environment where one has to take some time off. <p>JOB SUMMARY Provide direct and indirect age specific nursing care for assigned patients per scheduled shifts within the framework of Patient Centered Care (PCC). The role encompasses nursing assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, evaluation, and coordination of care for patients across the health care continuum involving families. Assume designated Lactation Specialist responsibilities as assigned, providing evidence-based assessment, education, counseling, and support to breastfeeding mothers and infants to promote optimal maternal infant outcomes and continuity of care. Accountable for clinical, educational, quality, and fiscal patient care outcomes, using the PCC principles and in accordance with established institution's policies, procedures, guidelines, Professional Practice Model and standards of care and practice.</p><p>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS / TASK GROUPS Greet and create a positive experience for every patient/family, demonstrating a professional, caring, and empathetic approach. Perform patient assessment using appropriate, problem focused, and age-specific assessment techniques and analyze the assessment data, derive nursing interventions, set priorities according to patient s needs, formulate a plan of care, implement and evaluate the outcome. Assess breastfeeding mothers and infants using evidence-based maternal infant and lactation assessment techniques to identify breastfeeding needs, risks, and potential complications. Develop and implement individualized lactation care plans, providing hands-on assistance with breastfeeding initiation, positioning, latch, milk expression, maintenance of milk supply, and use of breast pumps and related equipment. Identify, manage, and follow up on common lactation-related conditions, including engorgement, sore nipples, mastitis, and low milk production, and initiate appropriate referral to physicians or other healthcare professionals when indicated. Administer medications; monitor desirable and undesirable effects and intervene accordingly. Document all relevant data in the electronic health record AUBHealth according to hospital/departmental standards. Collaborate with other disciplines through multidisciplinary meetings and care conferences to facilitate patient care and operations. Implement and monitor infection control measures and apply safety measures related to patient care. Provide basic life support when needed. Assesses patient and family learning needs and provides appropriate education and counseling, including education related to breastfeeding, lactation, and infant nutrition; contributes to relevant staff education when needed.
