<li>Manage the hotel's procurement and purchasing activities to ensure timely availability of goods and services</li>
<li>Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure the best quality, pricing, and delivery terms</li>

<h4>Scope of position:</h4>
<p>The Spa Therapist is responsible to deliver professional massage therapy and body treatments, ensuring maximum efficiency, safety, and uncompromising attention to guests and members. They will provide courteous services to guests and members at all times, and have comprehensive knowledge and details of all spa treatments, products, facilities, and services.</p>
<h4>Responsibilities:</h4>

<li>Demonstrates a commitment to provide warm, anticipative service to exceed the needs and expectations of our discerning guests</li>
<li>Possess knowledge about all aspects of Movenpick treatments and the facility to ensure guests are provided with accurate information, and inquiries are responded to with complete details</li>
<li>Maintains cleanliness of the facilities and ensures they are in peak sanitary conditions at all times</li>
<li>Performs all massage, body treatments, and aesthetic services as certified or trained to do so and as per Movenpick brand standards</li>
<li>Ensures individualized guest service through acknowledging and responding to needs and expectations</li>
<li>Reviews guest’s medical history, waiver, and all information prior to performing each treatment</li>
<li>Maintains clean and neat work environment at all times, ensuring equipment for body treatments and personal equipment are in safe working order</li>
<li>Maintains proper supplies of professional products, towels, and other supplies in treatment rooms</li>
<li>Possess thorough knowledge about all aspects of spa operations including telephone usage, guest relations, retail sales, and spa services and facilities</li>
<li>Assists members and guests with the use of spa facilities (sauna, steam, salt room, etc.)</li>
<li>Works with related hotel departments to ensure efficiency in meeting guest needs</li>
<li>Contributes to the team environment by assisting spa colleagues in all areas</li>
<li>Participates in the orientation and training of all new or temporary colleagues assigned to Movenpick</li>

<h4>Qualifications</h4>

Co-operate with the food and beverage manager to ensure that adequate supplies of linen are available at all times and presentation is of the standard required.<br>
Carry out regular checks in the food and beverage outlets to ensure the presentation of linen is at the required standard.<br>
Check the quality of guest laundry and dry cleaning on a regular basis.<br>
Check all equipment regularly to ensure that it is properly maintained and in good working order.<br>
Prepare maintenance requisitions and maintain an efficient follow-up file to ensure that equipment does not fall into disrepair.<br>
Ensure that adequate quantities of laundry and dry cleaning supplies are maintained; check incoming orders, supplies, and equipment.<br>
Prepare all necessary reports for the executive housekeeper; prepare monthly reports of the operations of the department.<br>
