Duties and Responsibilities
<br>1. Security Operations Management
<br>• Direct and coordinate all security activities across assigned locations.
<br>• Develop and manage duty rosters, staff deployment plans, patrol schedules, and shift handovers to ensure adequate security coverage.
<br>• Oversee access control processes for employees, members, guests, tenants, contractors, and visitors.
<br>• Ensure effective implementation of patrol and asset protection measures to identify and mitigate security risks.
<br>• Supervise the operation of CCTV systems, control room activities, and alarm management processes.
<br>• Coordinate security arrangements for special events, VIP visits, and high-traffic periods.
<br>2. Incident Management and Emergency Response
<br>• Ensure all incidents, accidents, complaints, and security breaches are promptly addressed, investigated, documented, and reported.
<br>• Lead the security team’s response to emergencies, including fire alarms, medical incidents, evacuations, and other crisis situations.
<br>• Coordinate with emergency services and external authorities when required.
<br>• Ensure emergency procedures, evacuation plans, and security protocols are effectively implemented and regularly reviewed.
<br>• Conduct security drills and ensure team readiness for emergency situations.
<br>3. Team Leadership and Development
<br>• Lead, coach, and develop Security Supervisors, CCTV Operators, and Security Guards.
<br>• Monitor team performance and ensure compliance with company standards, policies, and procedures.
<br>• Conduct regular briefings, shift handovers, and performance discussions.
<br>• Identify training needs and support the continuous development of the security team.
<br>• Prepare and lead on job training (regularly)
<br>• Promote a culture of professionalism, accountability, discipline, and teamwork.
<br>4. Compliance, Safety, and Risk Management
<br>• Ensure compliance with company policies, security procedures, legal requirements, and health and safety regulations.
<br>• Conduct regular security inspections, risk assessments, and vulnerability reviews across all sites.
<br>• Monitor the condition and functionality of security equipment, access control systems, CCTV infrastructure, and safety devices.
<br>• Maintain accurate security records, reports, logs, and documentation.
<br>• Recommend and implement corrective and preventive actions to reduce operational risks.
<br>5. Stakeholder Coordination and Service Excellence
<br>• Maintain effective communication and coordination with Operations, Maintenance, Human Resources, and other departments.
<br>• Build and maintain professional relationships with members, tenants, visitors, contractors, and external stakeholders.
<br>• Support operational needs while ensuring security requirements are consistently met.
<br>• Enforce company rules and operational policies fairly, consistently, and professionally.
<br>• Promote a security culture that balances safety, professionalism, and customer service.

<br>We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, coordination, and delivery of electrical works for major construction projects in Africa. The successful candidate will manage all electrical project activities from mobilization through testing, commissioning, and handover, while maintaining the required standards for safety, quality, cost, and programme.
<br>
<br>This is a senior site-based role for a practical, commercially aware electrical professional with a strong record of delivering complex building, infrastructure, industrial, or MEP projects in African markets. Proven experience working with multicultural project teams, local subcontractors, consultants, suppliers, and authorities is essential.

<br>Key Responsibilities
<br>
<br>The Electrical Project Manager will take full responsibility for the delivery of electrical works in accordance with the approved scope, technical specifications, drawings, programme, and budget. The role will lead site electrical teams and coordinate closely with the main project team, MEP disciplines, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and client representatives.
<br>
<br>Key responsibilities include:

<br>Plan, organize, and manage all electrical construction activities, including mobilization, work sequencing, resource allocation, installation, testing, commissioning, and handover.
<br>
<br>•
<br>Review electrical drawings, specifications, BOQs, and project requirements; identify technical discrepancies, coordination issues, and constructability risks before they affect progress.
<br>
<br>•
<br>Coordinate electrical installations with civil, architectural, mechanical, plumbing, fire and life-safety, ELV, ICT, and specialist systems.
<br>
<br>•
<br>Develop and monitor detailed electrical work programmes, manpower plans, equipment needs, material schedules, and procurement priorities.
<br>
<br>•
<br>Lead and supervise engineers, supervisors, foremen, technicians, and electrical subcontractors to achieve planned production and quality targets.
<br>
<br>•
<br>Manage subcontractor performance, site productivity, work-front availability, and compliance with approved method statements and inspection procedures.
<br>
<br>•
<br>Review and control electrical material submittals, shop drawings, samples, technical data, testing plans, and commissioning documentation.
<br>
<br>•
<br>Ensure timely resolution of RFIs, site instructions, design coordination matters, variations, and technical issues.
<br>
<br>•
<br>Monitor project costs, electrical budgets, quantities, material consumption, productivity, change orders, and potential commercial claims; provide accurate forecasts to project management.
<br>
<br>•
<br>Enforce health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements throughout the electrical scope of work.
<br>
<br>•
<br>Coordinate inspections, testing, energization, commissioning, snagging, and final handover with relevant stakeholders.
<br>
<br>•
<br>Prepare and submit regular progress reports covering completed works, programme status, manpower, procurement, technical issues, risks, and corrective actions.
<br>
<br>•
<br>Build effective working relationships with consultants, clients, local teams, authorities, vendors, and subcontractors in the project country.

<br>Required Qualifications and Experience

<br>Education
<br>Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline. Professional registration is an advantage.
<br>Overall Experience
<br>At least 10 years of electrical construction or MEP delivery experience, including a minimum of 5 years in an Electrical Project Manager or senior electrical management role.
<br>Africa Experience
<br>Demonstrated experience delivering electrical works on construction projects in one or more African countries is required.
<br>Project Background
<br>Experience on large-scale building, infrastructure, industrial, energy, hospitality, healthcare, commercial, or mixed-use developments is preferred.
<br>Technical Expertise
<br>Strong knowledge of LV and MV electrical distribution, lighting, power, earthing, lightning protection, generators, UPS, ATS, ELV systems, testing, commissioning, and handover requirements.
<br>Commercial Capability
<br>Ability to manage budgets, cost reports, variations, subcontract packages, procurement planning, and productivity.
<br>Software
<br>Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project-planning or reporting tools. Knowledge of BIM/Revit is an advantage.
<br>Languages
<br>Professional English is essential. French, Arabic, Portuguese, or relevant local-language capability is an advantage.
