Account Allocation & Transaction Recording Allocate all incoming and outgoing financial transactions to the correct accounts within the system. Ensure payments received are accurately recorded and matched to the right membership, service, or product category. Review and correct any misallocated transactions identified through daily or periodic checks. Maintain consistency in how transactions are categorized to ensure reporting accuracy over time. Inventory Cost Tracking Track the cost of inventory items from the point of purchase through to consumption or sale. Monitor the lifecycle of key inventory items identifying when items are ordered, received, used, and need replenishing. Highlight items with unusual cost patterns, high waste rates, or low turnover to management. Work alongside the operations team to ensure physical stock counts align with system records and cost data. Financial Records & Reporting Maintain up-to-date and accurate financial records across the system and supporting Excel files. Prepare periodic summaries of income, expenses, and inventory costs as requested by management. Ensure all financial documentation (invoices, receipts, payment records) is properly filed and retrievable. Support management with any ad-hoc financial data requests or reconciliation tasks. System & Process Compliance Work within the company's internal system to log, allocate, and review all financial activity. Follow established workflows for PO/PI processing and flag any steps that appear to have been skipped or incorrectly completed. Identify and report any irregularities, misuse, or inconsistencies in financial transactions to management. Suggest improvements to bookkeeping processes where inefficiencies or risks are identified. In Lebanon, Law No. 463/2002 established a framework for sentence reduction and entrusted this task to the Sentence Reduction Commission. Each of the two sub-commissions consists of a judge appointed by the Minister of Justice, the head of the prison's central directorate, a medical doctor specialized in psychiatry, and a social worker, with both specialists designated by the Minister of Justice. The director of the relevant prison or facility serves as an ad hoc member, depending on the case under review. To address the increasing workload, the Minister of Justice also appointed an additional social worker to support both sub-commissions. However, the Commission's operations have been quasi-paralyzed for over two years due to a lack of support for the medical doctors and social workers, who are essential for providing the necessary assessments for each case. This has hindered the Commission's ability to fulfill its critical role in addressing prison overcrowding. In this context, and as part of its ongoing commitment to improving access to justice, UNDP seeks to recruit two (2) Medical Doctors specialized in psychiatry to support the Commission in processing the cases of prisoners seeking sentence reduction.</p><p>Scope of work, responsibilities and description of the proposed analytical work Under the overall guidance of the project's Chief Technical Advisor or Project Officer, and in close coordination with the Commission of Reduction of Sentences, the Medical Doctors will support the Commission across the different governorates, according to the Commission's geographic distribution of files, by assessing prisoners' medical condition before sentence-reduction decisions are issued.</p><p>To achieve this objective, the Consultants are expected to:</p><ul><li>Assess prisoners' files from a medical and psychiatric perspective.</li><li>Draft and submit scientific reports to the Commission to inform its sentence-reduction decisions.</li><li>Provide the necessary medical opinion regarding the reduction of a prisoner's sentence based on their medical and psychiatric condition.</li><li>Provide expert opinion during deliberations on the impact and relevance of mental-health factors in specific cases.</li><li>Collaborate with the Commission on any other required tasks.</li></ul><p>Expected outputs and deliverables The Consultants are expected to complete the tasks and activities described above and submit bi-monthly progress reports. <h4>Position summary</h4>
<p>We are seeking an experienced Thermal Spray Process Engineer to support and improve thermal spray coating operations in a manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for process development, production support, process documentation, quality improvement, troubleshooting, customer support, and continuous improvement initiatives related to thermal spray technologies.</p>
<p>The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on and technical experience with multiple thermal spray processes, including HVOF, Plasma Spray, Flame Spray, and Twin-Wire Arc Spray systems. Crucially, this individual must possess the ability to lead end-to-end technical projects related to component parts repair orchestrating everything from pre-machining and surface prep to thermal spray application and final post-machining operations (including precision grinding). This role works closely with production, customers, and leadership to ensure coating performance, operational efficiency, and compliance with customer and industry requirements.</p>

Stakeholder consultations will be conducted to ensure a collaborative approach and to finalize the strategic plan. 3-Waste Management Monitoring System and KPIs Project aims to contribute to the Kuwait Environment Public Authority (KEPA) of Kuwait in developing a monitoring framework and digital dashboard to track and assess the progress of the Kuwait National Waste Management Strategy 2040 (KNWMS2040) towards achieving sustainable waste management goals. Key achievements include creating a comprehensive monitoring framework, developing a user-friendly digital dashboard for real-time insights, engaging stakeholders in the framework and dashboard development, integrating data with existing platforms like EMISK for continuous reporting, and providing training to ensure operational efficiency. 4-National Environment Data Management Strategy and Plan Project aims to develop and implement a comprehensive national plan for environmental data management in Kuwait. This project focuses on ensuring systematic and periodic sharing of data across government entities, enhancing transparency, and supporting informed decision-making based on accurate and reliable environmental data. Key achievements include creating a robust infrastructure for environmental data management, ensuring transparency and sustainability in data exchange, and developing technical capabilities to monitor environmental performance. The UNEP Regional Office for West Asia would like to recruit a well-qualified consultant to coordinate the implementation of the projects outlined above. The consultant will provide technical drafting, review and quality assurance of national strategies and project outputs related to environmental governance, legal and institutional frameworks, and Multilateral Environmental Agreements (MEAs), ensuring their technical quality, legal feasibility, institutional coherence, and alignment with Kuwait’s national commitments and frameworks. The Case Worker will be also responsible to support vulnerable children that fall under the case management and alternative care scope of work from all nationalities and legal statuses (national, resident, refugee, asylum seekers, undocumented, returnees..) within the Bekaa and Baalbek regions. <section><p class="heading jdMain">Job Description</p><p class="heading">Roles & Responsibilities</p><div class="paragraph"><p>In accordance with the established Agency policy and procedures, the incumbent is responsible for advising on and operationalizing all aspects of UNRWA security and risk management, crisis readiness and preparedness in the Field, for all UNRWA personnel both Internationally recruited and locally recruited Area staff with focus on frontline Area staff security, particularly in those areas heavily impacted by the current conflict.</p><p>The Senior Field Security Officer (SFSO) serves as a principal Advisor and assists the Front Office (DUA and DDUA (Operations/Programmes)) in the execution of their security responsibilities in the Field. The SFSO ensures UNRWA's Security and Risk Management system is context specific and tailored to the needs of frontline personnel. S/he supports the identification, implementation of security and risk management best practices and other Standard Operation Procedures across the Field. The SFSO ensures UNRWA's participation in the UN Security Management System (UNSMS) and supports UNRWA's compliance with security requirements, as appropriate. The SFSO also maintains close cooperation with UN Department of Safety and Security (UNDSS), Agency Funds and Programmes Security Officer(s), as well as with the Host Government security agencies, local community, and beneficiaries. Where applicable, the SFSO provides direct supervision to the Close Protection Team, and in addition to all aspects of the Field Security Risk & Management (FSRM) team. In this context, SFSO performs the following:</p><p>1. Security Risk Assessment:</p><p>1.1.In line with UNSMS methodology, leads the development of security risk management processes, outlining potential risks and recommends prevention and mitigation strategies towards improving the security of both the internationally recruited and the frontline Area staff, as well as the installations with a particular emphasis on the Camp level;</p><p>1.2.In close cooperation with the Front Office and Department and Programme Heads, ensures that security initiatives are fully coordinated, approved and integrated into appropriate Agency-wide policy;</p><p>1.3.Oversees the process of comprehensive threat analysis and security risk assessments to include all area staff, locations, installations and activities in the assigned Field;</p><p>1.4.Manages the processes of various security assessments, both routine and adhoc, as required, to ensure optimal prevention and mitigation measures are in place;</p><p>1.5.Reviews inputs and recommends improvements in coordination with DSRM, HQ (Amman) in the implementation, further development and monitoring and evaluation (M&E) of the security and risk management system for all staff with the objective to minimize risk in the contextual, programmatic and professional workplace-risk categories for frontline Area staff;</p><p>1.6.Manages the UNRWA security incidents system as required and ensures that the Agency Security Incident Management System (SIMS) is fully implemented, kept up-to-date and reports filed properly. Oversees the upgrading of the SIMS to provide critical information for security analysis; encourages incident reporting at the Camp and Area level;</p><p>2. UNRWA Security Plan, Security Risk Management processes and UNSMS Security Risk Management (SRM) Measures:</p><p>2.1.Plans and oversees Security Risk Management process for all offices and maintains guidance such as security, contingency, emergency and evacuation plans as required;</p><p>2.2.Supports and supervises the implementation and adherence to the Area Security Plan and coordinates capacity building efforts for relevant frontline staff with the support of the available security resources on the ground;</p><p>2.3.Is responsible for developing and updating the Field specific security contingency plans in accordance with the United Nations Security Policy Manual that governs Internationally recruited staff and UNRWA risk management system for Area staff; coordinates and organizes emergency medical evacuation and convoy security procedures;</p><p>2.4.Ensures and manages that all new International and Area staff personnel receive briefings upon arrival, local security training as necessitated by changes in security environment, and are kept informed of matters affecting their security;</p><p>2.5.Ensures implementation of the frontline staff capacity-building plan, including SSAFE training programme for frontline staff, as required, and professional work-place risk trainings;</p><p>2.6.Manages the staff warden/ information systems as required;</p><p>2.7.Ensures that UNRWA Field Office procedures conform to the UNSMS and UNRWA policy and standards as appropriate, and that UNRWA personnel is included in the Security Plan comprising International staff with eligible dependents and the Area staff;</p><p>2.8.Ensures that appropriate staff tracking procedures are in place for all UNRWA staff travel; ensures compliance of International staff with Travel Request Information Process (TRIP) including the security clearance process;</p><p>2.9.Oversees staff's adherence and compliance to various (UNDSS and UNRWA specific) security plans and advisories, such as warden systems, and Residential Security Measures (RSM);</p><p>2.10.Assists the Field Director in assessing and implementing security risk management measures with a view towards SRM compliance for all aspects of UNRWA operations, including staff and supports the development and implementation of operational procedures and standards with regard to contextual, programmatic and professional work-place risk categories for frontline Area staff based on best practices in the Field; in LFO, chairs the Field Office advisory sub-committee on Security and Risk Management and make recommendations to the Field Director.</p><p>Functional</p><p>i.
