<p>The Syrian crisis has placed a huge strain on natural resources and infrastructure. UNDP is working with local communities and civil sector organizations to improve livelihoods through improved natural resource management. The project aims to support the municipalities within the Union through targeted infrastructure interventions. The interventions include Construction of stormwater channels in Nabi Ayla, Ablah, Ferzol, Taalabaya, Niha, and Saadnayel, replacement of existing street lighting in Hazerta and addition of street lighting in Chtaura. 1. JOB PURPOSE

<br>The Warehouse Keeper is responsible for the effective day-to-day management of warehouse activities, ensuring the accurate receipt, storage, handling, preservation and dispatch of company products.
<br>
<br>The role is critical in maintaining stock accuracy, product quality, food safety, proper storage conditions and timely order fulfillment, while ensuring that all warehouse activities are conducted efficiently and in accordance with company policies and procedures.

<br>The Warehouse Keeper will handle FMCG food products including cheese, pasta, rice and related food products, with particular attention to FIFO/FEFO principles, expiry dates, batch traceability and appropriate storage conditions.

<br>A. Receiving & Inbound Operations
<br>Receive incoming products and verify quantities against delivery notes, purchase orders and relevant documentation.
<br>Inspect incoming goods for quantity, packaging integrity, visible damage, expiry dates and general condition.
<br>Verify product codes, batches, quantities and expiry dates before accepting stock.
<br>Report discrepancies, damaged goods, shortages or excess quantities immediately to the Warehouse/Logistics Manager.

<br>Monitor treatment performance, flow rates, tank levels, pH, TSS, TDS, and water recovery.
<br>Ensure proper operation of pumps, mixers, filters, dosing systems, presses, and related equipment.
<br>Manage chemical dosing, consumption, and safe handling.
<br>Conduct daily equipment inspections and coordinate maintenance activities.
<br>Identify operational issues and perform basic troubleshooting.
<br>Maintain accurate operational and maintenance records.
<br>Ensure compliance with SOPs, safety procedures, and environmental requirements.
<br>Train and guide operators on proper system operation and safety.

<br>Requirements:

<br>Technical diploma with strong practical experience in wastewater treatment.
<br>Experience in wastewater/water treatment, industrial utilities, dairy/food & beverage wastewater, agricultural waste, or liquid waste recovery.
<br>Hands-on knowledge of wastewater treatment equipment and processes.
<br>Practical understanding of pumps, piping, chemical dosing, filtration, clarification, solid-liquid separation, and Reverse Osmosis (RO).
<br>Strong supervisory, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
