Description

Aspire Software is looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer (AI) to join our team in Lebanon.

Here is a little window into our company: Aspire Software operates and manages wholly owned software companies, providing mission-critical solutions across multiple verticals. By implementing industry best practices, Aspire delivers a time sensitive integration process, and the operation of a decentralized model has allowed it to become a hub for creating rapid growth by reinvesting in its portfolio.

About the role

As a Forward Deployed Engineer (AI), you embed directly with our businesses to design and ship AI-powered solutions against real, often messy, problems. You'll move between companies and domains — building a retrieval pipeline for one business one month, standing up an agent workflow for another the next. You own problems end to end: understand the domain, scope the solution, build it, and get it into production.

This is fundamentally a builder's role. We care far more about whether you can turn a problem into working software with modern AI tooling than about the title you held before. That means we're open to two kinds of people: experienced software developers, and senior product managers (or others from a product background) who have the technical know-how to actually build things themselves. If you can ship, and you're fluent with AI tooling, the lane you came from matters less than what you can do with it.

Why this role is different

Hard problems, real impact. The projects are demanding and technically ambitious — you'll work at the frontier of what current AI tooling makes possible, on systems people actually depend on.

Breadth no single company can offer. Across finance, logistics, education, government, and automotive, you'll see a far wider range of problems, data, and constraints than you would inside one product — and get sharp at recognizing patterns across all of them.

Latest tools, encouraged. We expect you to use the best available AI development tools and to push them hard. Experimentation is part of the job, not a side project.

Genuinely generous with tooling. This is one of the real perks of the role. Our leadership structure lets us purchase tools quickly, and we're open about which AI toolsets you use — if a tool will make you faster or better, we'll get it for you without a drawn-out approval process.

Autonomy. You're trusted to go deep into a business, figure out what's worth building, and ship it.

What you'll do

Embed with portfolio businesses to identify, scope, and build AI-powered solutions to high-value problems.

Design and build RAG (retrieval-augmented generation) pipelines and agentic systems that integrate with each business's data and workflows.

Integrate large language models via APIs (Anthropic Claude, OpenAI/GPT, and others) into production applications.

Use AI-native development tools (Cursor, Claude, Windsurf) and automation platforms (n8n and similar) to build and ship quickly.

Take projects from problem framing through to deployed, maintainable software.

Move fluidly between business domains, ramping up fast on unfamiliar industries and codebases.

Requirements

The non-negotiable is that you can build. Beyond that, we recognize two paths into this role:

Senior software developers — you've built and shipped real systems and can operate independently. (In rare cases we'll consider a less experienced developer who is exceptionally strong with AI tooling, but senior experience is the norm.)

Senior product managers / product backgrounds — you've worked in a product or product-management role and have the genuine technical know-how to build things yourself, not just spec them. If you can take a problem and ship a working AI-powered solution, your product instincts are a real asset here.

Whichever path you come from, we also expect:

Hands-on experience with AI-native tools such as Cursor, Claude, and Windsurf, and a genuine interest in AI more broadly.

Comfort integrating AI APIs (Anthropic, OpenAI, and others) into real applications.

The ability to own ambiguous problems end to end and ship.

Adaptability — you enjoy jumping into new domains and getting productive quickly.

Nice to have

Experience building RAG pipelines in production.

Experience building agents / agentic workflows.

Familiarity with n8n or similar automation / orchestration platforms.

Exposure to any of our verticals: finance, logistics, education, government, or automotive.

Tools & technologies you'll work with

About Sitesee Sitesee Tech is a UAE-based technology consultancy founded in 2021. We implement and migrate ERP systems for businesses across the Gulf.
A big part of where we’re heading is AI. We’re building AI agents that work inside ERP systems and business software. Instead of people clicking through software to get things done, our agents do the work, handling things like sales, accounting, expenses and other day-to-day business processes.
We’re looking for someone who can help us turn what we’re building into content people actually want to watch.
The Role The core of this job is in Beirut, working in person with our technical co-founder. You’ll film with him, sit with him while he builds, understand what he’s working on, and learn the product well enough to know which thirty seconds of it are actually worth showing. That relationship is the engine of the role.
You’ll own the content output end to end: filming, editing, posting and scheduling.
Alongside that, you’ll work with our Dubai team on the monthly content calendar and overall content direction, contributing ideas, angles and scripts to the plan.
This isn’t a role where you’ll be handed perfectly written scripts and raw footage to edit. We want someone who gets close enough to the product and the team to spot good content themselves.
What You’ll Be Doing Film short-form content with our technical co-founder in Beirut Capture product demos, behind-the-scenes moments, builds, experiments and day-to-day content Turn raw footage into engaging short-form videos Edit videos for Linked In, Instagram Reels, Tik Tok and You Tube Shorts Add subtitles, cuts, hooks, graphics and other elements where needed Own posting and scheduling across our social channels Work with the Dubai team on the monthly content calendar Contribute ideas, hooks, angles and scripts Understand our products well enough to identify good content opportunities without always needing to be told Repurpose strong ideas and footage into multiple pieces of content Keep the content pipeline organised and make sure we’re publishing consistently Follow performance and learn what types of content are working so we can keep improving
What We’re Looking For We care much more about whether you can make great content than what degree you have. You should be someone who:Has strong video filming and editing skills Understands short-form content and what makes someone stop scrolling Is comfortable filming people and directing them naturally on camera Can take something technical and make it simple and interesting Has a good instinct for hooks, pacing and storytelling Understands platforms like Instagram, Tik Tok, Linked In and You Tube Shorts Can work independently and take ownership of the output Is organised enough to manage filming, editing, scheduling and publishing consistently Is curious and willing to actually learn how our products work Is comfortable working closely with a technical founder and turning spontaneous conversations or product builds into content
You do not need to already understand ERP systems, Odoo or AI agents. We can teach you that. But you do need to be curious enough to learn.
The Content Most of what we produce will be short-form. Long form youtube content is also part of our content strategy down the line.
Think:Product demos AI agent demos Founder-led videos Building-in-public content Behind-the-scenes clips Educational content Opinions and commentary around AI, ERP and business software Real examples of problems we’re solving for companies
We don’t want overly polished corporate videos. We want content that feels natural, sharp, interesting and human.

Result of Service The consultant will design and pilot a small set of policy lenses that extract structured, comparable representations from policy documents, and demonstrate their value on a bounded corpus from a small number of ESCWA member States, in a form that ESCWA can evaluate and extend afterward. The assignment is a feasibility pilot, not a production system: one policy domain, three to five countries, three to five lenses, evaluated qualitatively with policy-expert input. Work Location Remote Expected duration 6 months Duties and Responsibilities Background: The Decision Support and Data Science Division (DSDS) of the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA) seeks a part-time consultant to design and pilot Policy Lens, a structured evidence-synthesis approach for policy documents. Comparing how several countries approach a policy issue means reading many national strategies, evaluations and progress reviews, written years apart and with uneven rigour. Patterns across the set: shared causal assumptions, claims backed by evidence versus simply asserted, targets - are hard to see even when the information is in the text. Policy Lens addresses this by applying an analytical lens to the whole document set at once. Each lens rests on a frame: a defined structure with specific fields that every document maps onto, so outputs are comparable across documents rather than readable one at a time. Examples include a Theory of Change lens, an evidence-strength lens and a gap-detection lens. ESCWA already operates two LLM-based systems: Mustashar, a retrieval-augmented question-answering system, and Naseej, an interactive multi-agent system that drafts substantive policy reports and briefs based on a UN knowledge corpus. Both produce prose for a human reader; neither produces structured, comparable representations. Policy Lens is intended as complementary infrastructure that can feed more reliable, structured material into both. The intended source corpus is the Arab Development Portal (ADP), whose Knowledge Hub documents are already tagged by country, SDG and theme, alongside structured indicator data and an SDG data-availability tracker. This lowers the extraction burden for descriptive and gap-detection lenses in a pilot. Duties and responsibilities: Under the supervision of the Chief of DSDS, the consultant will: 1. Design the lens framework. Articulate the lens/frame concept and develop a taxonomy of lenses (descriptive/comparative, causal, gap-detection), with a justification for Theory of Change as the starting point for the causal category. 2. Apply political-neutrality safeguards. Build neutrality into lens design, especially gap-detection lenses, framing findings as opportunities for regional learning or support rather than as country scorecards. 3. Scope the pilot corpus with ESCWA. Agree on one policy domain and three to five countries and select well-structured English-language documents (national strategies, official reports) from ADP and other sources ESCWA provides. 4. Specify and test three to five pilot lenses. Include at least one descriptive lens (e.g. SDG Alignment), one causal lens (e.g. Theory of Change) and one gap-detection lens (e.g. Population Coverage), each with a defined extraction schema. 5. Build a simple extraction and comparison pipeline. Implement three stages extraction, structuring into the lens schema, output generation using LLM APIs within the budget ESCWA confirms, and leveraging existing ADP metadata and indicator data where possible. 6. Produce structured outputs for policymakers. Generate tables, comparison views and simple visualizations (e.g. a theory-of-change diagram per country). 7. Run an expert validation round. Coordinate a lightweight qualitative review of outputs by experts ESCWA identifies, focused on substantive accuracy, and document findings and error patterns. 8. Recommend integration paths. Assess concretely how Policy Lens outputs could feed Naseej (as structured source material for briefs) and Mustashar (as a structured index alongside text retrieval), in consultation with the teams that own those systems. 9. Document and hand over. Deliver code, schemas, prompts and documentation in ESCWA's repositories so the work can be reproduced and extended. 10. Prepare a methods paper (best effort). Draft a methods-oriented paper on the lens/frame approach, grounded in pilot results, for possible submission with ESCWA clearance. Languages English and French are the working languages of the United Nations Secretariat; and Arabic is a working language of ESCWA. For this position, fluency in English is required. Note: Fluency equals a rating of fluent in all four areas (speak, read, write, and understand) and Knowledge of equals a rating of confident in two of the four areas.
